We take it as our most important task to educate our future leaders. For this purpose the Department has established strong links with industries. Our students benefit from these links by adding value to their studies through planned industrial visits, gaining vital professional experience, and enhancing their employment opportunities. Industry experts also contribute to our undergraduate students through workshops and seminars ensuring that the students are skilled and well-prepared for facing the latest issues within the field of chemical engineering. We delight in our academic interaction with bright, energetic and creative undergraduate students; and we strive to nurture a passion in them for science, engineering and technology. We provide a stimulating learning and research environment, exposing students to a wide diversity of viewpoints and hands-on teaching and learning styles. The current global economic environment is challenging for everyone, particularly the new and upcoming graduates. The educational initiatives at ChE department are committed to provide our students with the opportunities that will use their engineering talent and education to solve real-world, multidisciplinary problems and to move our economy as our society forward.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have regarding our curriculum, academia, research, or what it is to be a chemical engineer. It is the best time indeed, to be a chemical engineer. I invite you to consider becoming a part of this talented and diverse community.
